WW: Spring Cupcakes

Hello Ladies!
It's time for another Whistlin' Wednesday! This is when we give a whistle to all ya'lls crafty creativity, recipes, and more!

Today's whistle goes to a very whistle-worthy recipe from a wonderful blogger named Glory who owns Glorious Treats.

From that delectably delicious blog I found this.....

Hydrangea Cupcakes. Yum.

They are almost too pretty to eat! But you gotta do what you gotta do. :)

I am going to give you the link to her blog where you can find this recipe along with many more.

You should also know that on the same page of the directions for this cupcake frosting idea are two recipes. One is for the chocolate cupcake, and the other is for the cream cheese frosting. So she makes sure that you know everything you need to know to make these beauties.

If you have something to suggest (even if it is your own) please please pretty please send it my way: bewitnwise@gmail.com, or link below. I love sharing all your tutorials and ideas.

World Smile Day!

Hello Ladies!

Tomorrow is World Smile Day and I thought it would be a good idea to write a post about all the beautiful things that make me smile. There isn't any particular order to them.

1. Sunsets. Sure, the setting of the sun always looks beautiful, but you haven't lived until you've seen it out in the country. When there is nothing to obscure it. Just rolling hills, miles of trees, and then that sunset.

2. Creating something. There isn't anything quite like that feeling you get when you can look at something and think "I made that". It's an amazing feeling.

3. Writing. Putting every little thought in your head into words. Just grabbing a pen and some paper and letting your mind speak. Writing without thinking about the weight of the words, just writing them.

4. Walking barefoot outside. Feeling the grass under your feet. Peace and contentment.

5. Seeing a comment on this blog. Whenever I see that comment number increase, I just get the biggest smile on my face.

6. Seeing someone making a difference. Few things can compare with seeing someone who actually cares.

7. Hearing stories about my relatives. All those crazy things they did when the were little. All the dreams they had. What they did everyday. It's those things that make the past come alive.

8. Listening to my little sisters laugh. Those sweet childish giggles could bring a smile to the face of even the most hard-hearted.

9. Reading a good book. You know those books. The ones you savor every word and when you're finished you feel like crying because you can never read it for the first time again.

10. Wishing on a star. Just closing your eyes and wishing for something with all you're heart.

11. Giving someone a gift. Not just any gift. But a gift you thought out so carefully, and searched for until you found the perfect one. That gift you saved up your money for, because you wanted to see that smile on their face.

12. Eating ice cream on a hot summer day. Just because.

13. Pulling up into your driveway after a long trip away from home.

14. Watching a little girl play with make-up.

15. Hearing an inspiring quote.

16. Baking desserts.

17. Carving pumpkins for Halloween.

18. Chasing a chicken when they escape their pen. Sure, you're ready to shoot them, fry them, and eat them by the time you've caught them, but you did have a little bit of fun.

19. Finding something that used to belong to one of your ancestors. Touching it and thinking to yourself that they used to hold this just like you are right now.

20. That first blade of green grass in Spring.

21. Building a Fairy House. My sisters and I do this sometimes with sticks, rocks, grass, leaves, and other things we find outside.

22. Dancing in the rain. We love it when it rains in the Summer. No thunder or lightning, just rain. And we go out and run around and dance until we are soaking wet and Mom doesn't want to let us back into the house.

23. Waking up to a beautiful day.

24. Days you get to stay at home and do whatever you want.

25. Looking at old pictures and watching old videos.

26. Reading a funny blog post.

27. Being goofy with my sisters.

28. Waking up to snow on Christmas morning.

29. Walking on the beach, when we go on vacation.

30. Listening to happy, upbeat music

31.Watching Anabelle draw.

32. Hearing Dana and Rose giggle.

33. When Miranda reads some of her funny journal entries to us.

34.  Learning from Mom.

35. Homemade mocha frappuccinos on a hot Summer day.

36. When your sitting outside and a butterfly lands on your hand.

37. Summer nights spent sitting on the trampoline talking to my sisters.

38. Watching a funny TV show/movie with my family. There's nothing like laughing until your sides ache, gasping for breath, and having tears pour down your face.

 39. That "clean house" smell.

40. Watching a baby chick hatch out of it's shell. It's really amazing, and I'm so glad I got to see this!

Thank you all for stopping by. What are the things that make you smile?
