It's time for...... Link your Blog! You know how much I just adore reading blogs so hand over your links dears! I don't care what you blog is about! Pretty much every blog is worth reading!

Goodbye Picnik!

Hello Ladies!

It is a sad day today. Our beloved photo-editing site Picnik is closing!

This is the last day, April 19th 2012. Ever since I first found Picnik I have loved using their wonderful photo-editing software. Picnik is what I used to make all of our blogs buttons!

     But there is some good news. Picnik has stated that they are moving a lot of their software into Google+. I have also discovered a new website that I really like. It is called PicMonkey.

PicMonkey is very similar to Picnik, it has about the same editing tools (like resizing,croping, sharpening, and rotating). It also has other similar features such as touch ups, black and white, sepia, adding text, adding frames, and others. But, even with some of the same features it also has quite a few new things.
     I say check it out for yourself. It has some awesome features, and while you do have to pay for some, there are many free choices too!

Cream Cheese Lemon Bars from Molly!

Here is another perfectly splendid Recipe!

This one is from another awesome blogger. You may know Molly from

Stilettos and Diapers. Molly has a very successful blog and she has most graciously given me full access to all her recipe's for reposting. Thanks so much Molly!

This recipe is one that Molly oh-so-sweetly made for one of her neighbors that just had a little baby girl. Molly says:

"My next door neighbor just had a gorgeous, tiny baby girl. I organized the neighbors to bring her meals. When I was trying to decide what to make, it hit me. Pinterest. She pins everything she would eat, so why not make everything off her food board?"

The treats Molly decided to make are Cream Cheese Lemon Bars

Is it just me, or do these look totally drool-worthy?

Molly says that she got the recipe from Favorite Family Recipes.

• Recipe:
• Crust:
• 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 
  
• Filling:
• 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
• 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
• 1 egg
• 1 cup sugar
• 
  
• Mix crust, reserving 1 cup. Press into 9x13 and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Whip filling until fluffy. Spread onto baked crust and top with reserved crust mixture. Bake for 25 minutes, cooling completely before cutting into squares. Yummy!

Happy (way belated) Easter!

Hello Ladies!

Sorry for the delay on Easter pictures. It has been so busy around here. We are switching one of the bedrooms for the office, so we are a MESS.
     Anyway, back to Easter. We had a very fun time. We colored a whole bunch of eggs. We hid a even more eggs. We hunted eggs. We found eggs. And then my personal favorite time: We ate CANDY!

Okay, fine. Maybe this is an obsession......BUT I LIKE IT!!!


It just can't be helped. Kit Kats are the best candy EVER!!!!

Peanut M&M's do make a close 2nd though...

Oh wait, I know! It's Peanut Butter Eggs!

 Oh! What is the best one?! How do I choose?! I guess I'll just have to eat all of them and find out!

LOL! In other news (besides my crazy sugar rush) we have egg coloring.

Whatcha think? Awesome egg coloring eh? LOL!

Chocolate Peanut Grahams from Michelle

Today we have a wonderful Friendly Freebie/Recipe Just for You!

Todays Freebie/Recipe is from a wonderful blogger known as Michelle. Michelle owns a blog called Michelle's Little Piece of Heaven. That would be where I found this marvelous recipe and asked Michelle if I could share. She bestowed on me her permission and here we go!

Michelle says: "There is no baking for these cookies and they are really fast to make. So if you need cookie in a hurry these are perfect."

Now Michelle tripled the Recipe to produce this many cookies, and she said that wasn't enough for her family. So you may have to adjust the measurements to your needs.

Michelle's Instructions

4 whole graham crackers, broken into quarters

1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

3 teaspoons shortening

Spread half of the graham cracker quarter with peanut butter; top with remaining cracker.
In a microwave bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip the crackers into the bowl. Covering it with chocolate. Remove using a fork to scoop them out. Tap the fork against the side of the bowl so the extra chocolate falls back into the bowl. Place on a wax paper -lined pan. Refrigerate until set. Enjoy!
