Hello Ladies!
I know I have not posted in a little while but I think you will forgive me when you see what has kept me so busy!
A few days ago we found these:
Our lovely lady chickens had left them, so it was up to our gentleman Willie to take care of them.
And he did. On Wednesday, the eggs began to hatch.
And look! Are they not precious?
We got there just in time to see another one hatch! I know some people think that newly hatched chicks look gross, but I think they are still cute! Wet, but cute!
Our little baby pulling it's way out of the egg.
Sweet!
Little baby with Daddy!
So you tell me, have you ever seen a Rooster take the Hens responsibility like this? I did not even know they did this until he started sitting on eggs. Talk about a surprise! I was staring at him trying to figure out what the heck was going on!

Cassandra this is so special, especially it being Easter week. Little peeps, real ones. I didn't know Roosters did that? Willie is sure special dad. Thanks for stopping over my place...have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to stop by Faith, it is kind of hard not to. You have such great talent with blogging!

How cool it that. I did not know that the daddy's would sit on the eggs either. I am with you that is the sweetest thing ever. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks Maryjane! I am so happy right now! I cried when Mom first brought me over there, I was so shocked, yet over-joyed!

Thanks Donna! It was pretty cool, I have seen eggs hatch before, but this is the first time I got to watch one of our own eggs hatch!
